Weekly Menu Planning

All of us have heard the phrase ” What’s For Dinner?”

It’s a question that can up our stress level in no time flat as we rack our brains for what to make for our family.
Usually the process in our brains goes something like this:

  • “Crap, I forgot to pull that chicken out of the freezer”
  • “I wonder if I can defrost it in the microwave”
  • “No. Between the microwave and the stove, it would take too long”
  • “Maybe some soup? No it’s 90 degrees out.”
  • “Cookies and milk would work for me but, I can’t feed them that.”
  • “Off to the drive-thru then, hope I have enough money”

Then at the end of the month you wonder why you have a full freezer and pantry but no money in the bank and your family seems to be gaining weight and acting sluggish.

When I started weekly menu planning I made a mark on the calendar every time I hit the fast food places. Even if it was just for my lunch while at work.
I was shocked by how many times I caved and went the supposed “easy” route. No wonder I couldn’t lose the weight and always felt tired. The fast food was taking up residence in my body and having a hell of a party with my metabolism.

If you’d like to feed your family, or just yourself, a bit healthier and save some money, Weekly Menu Planning will help you do that.
